The Honor of the Nobel Prize

The Nobel Prizes are often regarded as the single most prestigious achievement in the discipline's in which it is awarded. Nobel Prize trivia will show that the prizes are names after Alfred Nobel. Nobel was the inventor of Dynamite, and a man who made his living in the destruction and weapons industry. The will of Nobel was to establish five awards for accomplishments in various fields. The interest from the money left in his will was to provide for a monetary prize for the winners, which in current days amounts to more than a million dollars. There are of course notable prize winners within each of the other categories as well, clearly shown by any Nobel Prize quiz.
